Renewing an access token

How to renew or extend a token for an Add On

Updated over a week ago

Add Ons use Access Token to communicate with coreplus and generally have an expiry of 12 or 24 months after first being given access. Occasionally, an Add-Ons access token will expire, meaning they no longer have permission to access your coreplus account.

We will use HealthEngine as an example of an Add On, but the process will be the same for any Add On with an access token.

This article includes:

1. Renewing a token prior to expiry
2. Renewing an expired token

Renewing a token prior to expiry

1. From the Dashboard > Setup > Add-Ons

2. Click on the tile/Add On you want to extend.
3. Click the Refresh icon button that you see - Coreplus will confirm the Add On access token will be extended for another 12 months

Renewing an expired token

1. From the Dashboard > Setup > Add-Ons

2. Click on the tile/Add-On you require to be renewed.
3. You will see an Extend button that you can click, then agree to the Terms and Conditions and you are all done!
