Add Item codes and devices to your clients for all HSP claims

Item codes are used on all HSP claims. Some item codes will require devices to be entered into claim data as well to be successfully processed.

There is approximately 60 unique items, and approximately 1800 unique devices.

Adding Item Numbers

Follow the steps below to add All Item Numbers:
​

1. Go to Set Up > Settings > Service Types

2. Click View HSP Item Schedule

3. Click Add All Services

πŸ’‘ The HSP Service Schedule has a Status column to indicated whether the Item has

previously been added to the account or not.

πŸ›‘ If an item is already added to the account, and a user re-adds them, the following warning message will be shown:

This action will add all Hearing Services Items as Service Types into your coreplus account.

It will also replace any currently existing Service Types matching the Item Number, including those that have had their fee or description manually updated.

Adding Device Numbers

Follow the steps below to add a Device:

1. Go to Set Up > Settings > Service Types

2. Click View HSP Device Schedule

3. Select the relevant device

4. Click Create service type from selected Item

5. Make any edits required
​6. Click Save
