Create an NDIS Invoice

Raise an NDIS invoice from a calendar appointment or directly from a client's file

NDIS Invoices can be created in two ways:

​1. From the client appointment on the calendar
​2. From within a client's file


πŸ“ Make sure you have entered the NDIS Plan Details, provider number and service type before you create your first NDIS invoice.

Create an NDIS invoice: From the calendar appointment


​1. Go to Dashboard > Calendar, right-click on the appointment then click on Create Invoice

2. At the top of the invoice, NDIS funded will automatically default to Yes. Fill out the Consultation Information and enter the Billing Information by typing the relevant NDIS item code, selecting the NDIS service type and apply payment to the invoice if required, and click on Save Invoice

πŸ’‘ You can also click on the invoice icon on the appointment and select Create Invoice


Create an NDIS invoice: From the client's file

1. On the Dashboard, search for the client and go to their file
​2. From the client's file, click on Invoicing and then Create Invoice

3. Fill out the Consultation Information section. NDIS funded will automatically default to Yes. Enter Billing Information by typing the relevant NDIS item code, selecting the NDIS service type and apply payment to the invoice if required, and click Save Invoice.

πŸ’‘ Once an invoice has been paid, the amount will be deducted from the NDIS Plan Details. You will also notice the NDIS Plan Details have been locked, to unlock click the lock icon and then Update Client.


πŸ’‘ While applying a payment to the invoice, you can use Quantity Invoicing to bill by the hour.
