Why aren't' my case notes saving?

Case notes may fail to save if they contain special characters such as ' , / - & $ () {} | and similar symbols. These characters can interfere with the system’s ability to process the note. To resolve this, try removing any special characters from the text and then attempt to save again.

Formatting issues can also prevent a note from saving. To fix this:

  1. Click on Format > Alignment > Left

  2. Then go to Format > Subscript

This will reset any problematic formatting that may be causing the issue.

If the issue continues after following these steps, feel free to reach out to our support team for further assistance.

Can I delete case notes?

No, case notes cannot be deleted once saved. This is to ensure compliance with MedicoLegal standards, which require that clinical records remain accurate and unaltered.

If you're still working on a note and not ready to finalise it, we recommend using the Draft Notes feature. This allows you to make changes until you're confident the note is complete and ready to be saved permanently.

Do case notes support external pens such as the Dell Active Pen or Microsoft Surface Pen?

At this stage, the clinical notes text box in coreplus does support handwriting input on an iPad using a stylus pen. However, for Windows devices, such as those using a Surface or Dell pen, we currently don’t have any supported features that allow handwritten input directly into the notes field.
