Register your Minor ID with Services Australia

Register the Minor ID from your coreplus account with Services Australia for use in PRODA and associate the practitioners' provider numbers

Updated over a week ago

To claim via Services Australia, you will have to use an authentication system called Provider Digital Access (PRODA).

If this is your first time using Medicare claiming through coreplus you will need to complete the below steps before proceeding with the PRODA setup process.

In this article, we will discuss:

Filling out the HW027

The main practitioner you intend to claim for will need to fill in and complete an HW027 - Online Claiming Provider Agreement Form.

This will register the Minor ID from your coreplus account with Services Australia for use in PRODA and associate the practitioners' provider number with the Minor ID.

πŸ›‘ As PKI technology is now redundant, please enter your PRODA Organisation ID. This can be found when logging in to the PRODA website and clicking on your organization.

Linking provider numbers to your account

Once the form has been lodged and processed, you can link any other provider numbers you intend to use in coreplus by contacting Services Australia's e-business department on 1800 700 199.

If any additional provider numbers that you wish to link to your minor ID have not previously been used for Medicare Online Claiming, these practitioners will also need to complete and lodge the HW027 form.

πŸ›‘ If you have multiple providers with the same banking details, you can use the HW052 - Banking details online claiming form to lodge this for up to 6 providers at once!
