Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) SMS failed

What to do if the multi-factor (MFA) fails to send SMS validation code

Updated over a week ago

πŸ“Learn how to enable MFA on your account here

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) works by adding an additional layer of security to your coreplus account. It requires an additional login credential – beyond just the username and password – to gain access to your account.

After you have entered in your username and password, coreplus will send you a 5-digit verification code to the mobile number provided in your user account. If you do not know which number is linked to your login or if you no longer have access to this number, you will need to contact the Account holder or a Supervisor user to change this for you.

If MFA fails to send you a validation code and you have confirmed the number is correct with a supervisor user, then please do the following:

1. Turn your phone off and then back on and wait for 5 - 10 minutes for the SMS to come through

2. If the SMS still doesn't come through, contact support directly through our live online chat (pssst..... we usually respond pretty quickly!)
