For NDIS providers, it is necessary to be able to calculate the hours spent with a participant across the entire business. The new calculator feature allows you to set a rule to calculate how many hours have/ will be delivered to a Client/ Participant. This valuable feature empowers businesses to reduce the likelihood of delivering services outside the available/ funded service.

1. Go to Set Up > Settings > Interface Settings > Appointment Time Calculator and Invoicing Calculator

2. From the Dashboard, go to a client's file, then go to Appointments

3. Under NDIS Appointment Calculator, click Add and select the Practitioners you wish to have the calculator based on

4. Under Label, name the specific type of calculator (i.e. can be physio, psychology, etc)

5. Select the Appointment Type and Appointment Status

6. Select if you wish to calculate based on the Billable status being Yes or No. If you leave them blank, both options will be used for the calculator

7. Add in the participants' current Available Hrs and click Ok and Calculate

8. To save this view, click Save. Click Edit if you need to make any changes

If you wish to add multiple views, please follow the above steps again.

💡In the Used Hrs field, click on the copy icon to easily copy the number and use this to add the hrs available to an appointment alert
