🚀 Introducing: The Practice Happy Community!

We are super excited to announce our very special project - the Practice Happy Community! This space has been created for everyone working in allied healthcare to CONNECT TOGETHER, LEARN TOGETHER, and GROW TOGETHER. It doesn't matter if you're a practice owner, manager, practitioner, or administrator, you will get to:

⭐ connect with other allied healthcare professionals from all over Australia;

⭐ join profession/role-specific groups where you can ask for advice, share tips, and industry-related news;

⭐ be part of special monthly events (member meetups, guest speakers, discussion panels, and educational workshops);

⭐ expand your knowledge and join the discussions in the ‘Success Tips’ and ‘Tech Talk’ groups;

⭐ learn about other members or be featured in our monthly "Member Spotlight".

If this sounds like a community you would like to be part of, have a look for the link to join in the invitation sent by email or in your message feed. If you can't find your invite, please reach out to our team and we will get one sent to you.

📩 Expression of Interest: Client referrals from Blua, by BUPA & coreplus

Get new client referrals with our latest partnership with Blua, by Bupa.
As you may know, coreplus has been a digital health innovation leader focussed on connecting, helping, and growing healthcare providers and building eReferral programs that provide better-matched clients at a lower cost than traditional digital marketing involves.
Blua integrates into coreplus and allows you to present your practice and calendar availability, made visible to a large base of private health insurance members that reaches a wide demographic of client possibilities.
Imagine, your practice management software as a new client referral channel…soon, you won’t have to.
Blua has been made available to the following categories of health professionals, based on the current needs of Bupa’s International Health Insurance customers:

  • Physiotherapists

  • Psychologists & Counsellors

  • General Practitioners (GPs)

  • Medical Specialists

If you've already responded to this EOI, we have your information and will be providing the next steps soon. To register your interest today, email our Customer Success Team with ‘I'm interested + your health specialty’ for early access to Blua.

Have you been thinking about how to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of your patients in your allied health practice? Or do you think that simply by having a Privacy Policy you have ticked all the boxes and are 100% compliant? Check out our latest blog by Sarah Bartholomeusz, founder of You Legal to find out how to nurture a positive privacy culture.

😀 Family Member's Email is now included in Data Backup

The Family contact details of your data backup will now include their email address so you can back up all their relevant details pertaining to them.

😀 Billing Information added to data backup

Service Types and their billed amounts are now part of the data extract Additional columns also include the Date of Consult, Invoice Number, Fee, GST, Service Total, Amount Paid, and Amount Owing.

😀 Client's Medication data now included in Data Backup

Now whenever you run a data backup, the client's medication data will now be available as an option for export in the list of Client Data.

🐛 The options "Provide client forms/documents to download" and "Allow client to upload documents" in Client Portal is now working as expected

A bug has been fixed that caused the "Provide client forms/documents to download" and "Allow client to upload documents" options in the Booking Form settings of the Client Portal to not appear when ticked and saved.

✔️ Tip from the team

For our busy practitioners out there! Enable an SMS notification on the Default settings of your Calendar every time there is a new appointment made, that will notify you of a new booking.
