Telehealth by coreplus has many features to help you engage and communicate with your clients. This article outlies the features available in Telehealth by coreplus, so you can get the most out of your session.
📝 Before you can use any of these features you'll need to enable Telehealth by coreplus and create and launch a Telehealth by coreplus appointment
The call controls can be found at the centre bottom of the screen and they help you control what participants can see and hear during the call. From left to right, these controls are:
Microphone: Mute or unmute your microphone. When the microphone icon has a line through it, your microphone is muted and other participants wont be able to hear you
Camera: Mute or unmute your camera. When the camera icon has a line through it, other participants wont be able to see you.
Screen share: This feature allows you to share your screen with participants. You can share your whole screen, or share one of the applications you have open.
Flip camera: This feature is available when you have more than one camera available on your device - usually when used on a mobile phone. This button will switch between front and back facing cameras.
End Call: This will take you out of the call and back to the telehealth landing page.
Telehealth by coreplus features
Telehealth by coreplus is more than just video calling. In the top right of the screen you will find these useful features to help you communicate with participants. From left to right, these feature are:
Timer: Only the practitioner can see this timer. The timer lets you know how much time there is until the ends of the scheduled appointment. If you go over time, the timer will count into negatives until you end the call.
Whiteboard: The whiteboard feature allows you to draw with participants. You can find full instructions for using the whiteboard feature in Telehealth by coreplus whiteboard
Chat: This feature allows you to have a chat conversation with your clients. You can also send and receive files. You can find full instructions for using the chat feature in Telehealth by coreplus chat feature
Full screen: If you want the telehealth by coreplus session to take up your full screen, click the full screen icon.
Chat notifications: If you don't have the chat window open, Telehealth by coreplus will chime to let you know when a participant joins or sends a message in the chat. You can click the notifications icon to mute or unmute these notification.
Blur background: This is an experimental feature that blurs the background so other participants can't see the details of objects behind you.
Audio and Video Settings: Here you can change which camera, microphone and speakers Telehealth by coreplus uses.
