Medicare standards require a parent or guardian to be the claimant on behalf of a patient that is considered a minor.

📝Before processing a claim for a minor, add the claimant to the client's file via the contact list

📝 You will need to create an invoice to change the claimant

Please, see below how to add a claimant for a patient claim:

1. Within the invoice scroll down to Client Information, then click Show \ Hide
​2. Click on Change Claimant and then click on Insert Family Member

3. A popup window will appear, click on Insert 

💡 The Change Claimant button will only appear if the invoice has been set to a Patient Claim
